BLOOD IRRADIATION INDICATORS THAT ADAPT TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS

The RAD-CONTROL blood irradiation indicator serves to verify the irradiation of blood products. The intended use is for gamma or X-Ray blood irradiation with at least 25 gray. A RAD-CONTROL label is affixed to the blood product before blood irradiating takes place. The indicator will turn from RED to BLACK once irradiation has been carried out.

This change in color is reliable and self-explanatory! There are no evaluation uncertainties, only clear information of ‘not irradiated/irradiated’. RAD-CONTROL blood irradiation indicators are carefully produced and comprehensively tested in accordance with our ISO 13485 quality management system to avoid any risk in your processes.

BLOOD IRRADIATION INDICATORS THAT ADAPT TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS

The RAD-CONTROL “SCALE” is a semi-quantitative blood irradiation indicator. The indicator field changes from light PINK to BLUE.

Blood irradiation produces different shades of blue to make it possible to classify irradiation results between a minimum and a maximum value.

RAD-CONTROL “SCALE” is carefully produced and comprehensively tested in accordance with our quality management system to avoid any risk in your processes.

BLOOD IRRADIATION INDICATORS THAT ADAPT TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS

After blood irradiation the RAD-CONTROL BARCODE irradiation indicator appears as a barcode. This globally unique indicator enables:

  • Electronic readability of the blood irradiation result
  • Automation of the blood irradiation process
  • Improvement and simplification of the entire process

Additionally the word “IRRADIATED” appears in a second field to also show to users clearly that the irradiation was performed. The marking of labels or the manual entry of blood irradiation results is no longer necessary. After setting up the system blood bags can be distributed only if they have been identified and verification of blood irradiation has been confirmed.

FILLING OF SERUM EYE DROPS

Jetrail® Sets

The next level: The traditional production of serum eye drops is extremely time-consuming and staff-intensive.
The core element – the patented Jetrail® rails – takes aliquotation to the next level. For the first time, it is possible to fill the serum in just a few seconds.

Flexible variability in filling quantities for serum eye drops

Each Jetrail® Set consists of rails, each with 10 vials and a syringe. The Jetrail® Extensions are made of additional rails and can be easily connected and combined to any Jetrail® Set. Thus, the existing blood product is aliquoted completely with the desired filling quantity for each vial, and the eye drops are ideally adapted to the patient requirements.

Jetrail® Set 30

30 vials

This set is ideal for producing a monthly supply for patients. The set includes 3 rails with 10 vials each, including syringe and filter.

Jetrail® Set 60

60 vials

Ideal for the rapid production of eye drops in large volumes. The set includes 6 rails with 10 vials each, including syringe and filter.

Benefits

Closed System
No clean room required
Flexible configuration with variable number of vials
Number of vials can be adjusted to the amount of serum. Optimal serum usability
Functional drip outlet
Precise and easy dosage control during usage
Filling process of up to 60 vials in a few seconds
Fast and easy work for laboratory personnel
Simultaneous heat-sealing of 10 vials in one process
Effortless and quick completion of individual containers

How it Works

The Jetrail® Set is removed from the sterile packaging, and the rails are placed in the Jetrail® rack. The blood product is now sterilely connected to the set.

The desired amount of serum is drawn up with the syringe and then simultaneously aliquoted within seconds into the vials. The containers can be filled with up to 1.5 ml. For example, for a Jetrail® Set 30, 30 ml will supply 1 ml for each vial.

STEP 1 – FILLING

STEP 2 – SEALING

With the Jetrail® system, filling and sealing of the vials is done in two simple steps.
STEP 1: The blood product is sterilely connected with the Jetrail® Set and the liquid is filled into 10 vials per rail simultaneously with the syringe in one go.
STEP 2: Each rail is sterilely disconnected and placed into the Jetrail® Sealer. Automatic sealing takes about 20-30 seconds per rail. Afterwards, the vials can be easily disconnected from the rail. The serum eye drop vials can now be packed.

HIGHER QUANTITY

PRECISE ALIQUOTATION

Jetrail® Extensions

Patented Jetrail® Extensions allow for economical filling of larger amounts of serum.

How does the extension work?
After separation of the first filled rails, the Jetrail® Extensions are sterilely connected, and the serum remaining in the bag can be filled further.

AUTOMATIC SEALING OF
THE VIALS

Jetrail® Sealer

The next level: the production of eye drops in your blood bank does not have to be a long and complicated process. Jetrail® is a system that offers you a new standard: each rail, with 10 containers, is automatically sealed in just a few seconds. This means that manual sealing of individual containers is no longer required.

Patients will receive their individual requirement of serum eye drops ininsulated freezer bags.

The Jetrail® insulating bags with integrated cooling gel are ideal for transporting serum eye drops, as well as for storing and freezing up to 60 vials. The bags are space-saving, resealable and reusable. They ensure:

  • Simple, space-saving packaging in the blood bank
  • Safe cooling in the blood bank at up to -80 degrees Celsius.
  • Optimal cold chain assurance en route to the patient
  • Space-saving solution for patients
  • Reusability for the patient

ALIQUOTING
MADE EASY

Jetrail® Rack

Small aid –great support: The Jetrail Rack, like the Jetrail® Sealer, is a permanent aid in the aliquotation of serum eye drops. The rails from the Jetrail® Sets are placed next to each other in the rack. This ensures that the vials are filled quickly and evenly: the vials are now in a vertical position and are filled evenly.
